Sound meditation, also called sound bath or sound healing, is a practice of connecting with the body vibrationally through sound. You get comfortable and chill, and with 18 instruments I do the work to bathe you in relaxing sounds to reduce stress and anxiety, massage your body with the vibrations, and help you achieve a higher state of consciousness. This is a great practice if you have a hard time sitting quietly for traditional meditation. Sound has also proven to have healing powers, but I’m not a doctor, so I’ll let you come to your own conclusions on that.
In a sound meditation experience, you want to be comfortable. Dress comfortably and plan to take your shoes off. Most people prefer to lay down, but sitting up is fine too. Bring whatever you need to be comfortable - a yoga mat, pillow, bolster, blanket, (socks if your feet tend to get cold). If you prefer to sit up, bring a backjack or other portable chair. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to get set up.
