Workshops & Activities

We are excited to bring you a mix of our favorite experiences, in a weekend designed to connect you with yourself, a loving community, and incredible natural surroundings. All workshops and activities are optional and no experience is needed.

Roll and Unwind Gentle Yoga + Therapy Ball Rolling

A unique combination of soothing breath strategies, guided therapy ball rolling techniques, mindful movement, gentle stretching and restorative yoga postures. Calm the nervous system, increase body awareness, relieve tension patterns and leave feeling relaxed, centered and renewed.

Tarot Inquiry

Tarot decks will be provided for use during the retreat. We will use them as a tool for self-reflection, to gain deeper access to our archetypal story, to access the opportunities available to us in the present, and to create beautiful paths of possibility and potentiality for our future.

Sound Meditation

Connect with the body vibrationally through sound. Enjoy as a mix of singing bowls, chimes and drums bathe you in relaxing sounds to reset your nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, massage your body with the vibrations, and help you achieve a higher state of consciousness.

Slow Flow Yoga

A meditative blend of focused intention, traditional asana, functional movement and pranayama in a slower-paced format designed to cultivate awareness and inspire mindfulness both on and off the mat. Open and accessible for all levels of practitioners.

Nia

Nia is a wellness and fitness format that combines the expressiveness of dance, the power and explosiveness of martial arts, and the mindfulness of the healing arts. Nia is a holistic practice that creates a pathway for you to explore both your movement potential and capacity for wellness. As you learn to listen and respond to your body, you begin to feel increased joy and pleasure in movement, which inherently improves your well-being.

ArcanaDance

Created by Jennifer Lucero-Earle, ArcanaDance is a therapeutic practice designed to facilitate self-discovery, empowerment, transformation & healing through a fusion of tarot, archetypes, guided movement & music.  Arcana is defined as a secret. Dance is defined as movement to music. When fused together, ArcanaDance is defined as a secret that is revealed through movement. No tarot or movement experience required.

Mindful Arts & Crafts

Creating is so more than the finished product. In fact, the finished product doesn't really matter. The process of creating can be meditative and relaxing. Inspire yourself with a fun creative practice.

Journaling

Get support in starting or continuing your journaling practice with gentle guidance, journaling prompts, and encouragement.

Vision Boards

Give your dreams a tangible representation that you can utilize in your daily practice for manifesting and attracting what you want in your life. A vision board is so much more than pictures glued to a poster board. We'll go into techniques for creating the perfect vision for yourself, and what to do with it once it's complete.

Stargazing

The darkness of a moonless sky coupled with the solace of the desert offers the perfect opportunity for stargazing. Snuggled in a blanket away from light pollution, you will see millions of stars, maybe even shooting stars!

Extracurricular Activities

In addition to the workshops and activities included in the retreat experience, the following experiences are available for an additional fee. Details will be sent via email to retreat participants.

Massage

Facial

Private Tarot Reading with Jennifer

Private Reiki Session with Brooke

The Yoga Barn Ranch

Bordering Joshua Tree National Park in Yucca Valley, CA, the newly rennovated Yoga Barn Ranch has been thoughtfully curated for the ultimate retreat experience. The decor and rooms are clean and serene. This unique 5 acre property runs on clean solar energy.

The food is incredible! Meals include vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and all are prepared by Johnson & Wales Culinary Arts Graduate, Executive Chef, Mike Lattuca. Owners and hosts Mike and Rachel Lattuca cultivate an onsite organic garden and raise chickens for eggs.

The barn has been renovated to include a beautiful yoga studio, 3 guest rooms, a private treatment room, and shared spacious bathroom. The stable renovation features 3 guest rooms and a 6-bed loft bunk house.

In addition to guest accommodations, the studio, kitchen and dining room, there is a meditation yurt, and plenty of space for lounging around the property. Additionally, there are hiking trails right outside the back gate.

Cool Stuff Nearby

  • Joshua Tree National Park - Definitely worth a visit. The retreat agenda may not allow as much time in the park as you'd like, so you may want to plan extra time before or after the retreat to visit. Note, National Parks have entry fees.

  • The town of Joshua Tree is a funky artist's haven with a handful of fun shops and restaurants.

  • Integratron - A unique desert experience, Integratron offers daily sound baths as well as a museum-like experience with cool stories about the unique architecture of the building and their history, including alien encounters! Their weekend sound baths sell out quickly, so I recommend booking early. Based on the retreat schedule, you could do the 12:15pm Friday or after 1:45pm Sunday.

  • Giant Rock - Another unique landmark in the desert dripping with alien-lore. Also, it's a REALLY BIG rock.
